Assalamu Alaykum Wa-Rahmatulah Wa-Barakatu brothers and sisters,
Alhamdulillah, Allah has given me the tawfiq to finally start catching up on the Tafsir lectures. This is the moment you all have been waiting for. About 20 new lectures have been uploaded. Please notice that the file names structures have been changed to make it easier for you to find the lecture you want without having to go thru each of them; the file name tells you everything.
So far I am missing the last 4 rukus (37, 38, 39 and 40) of sura Baqara, if anyone has a recording of them please contact me and let me know so I can upload them. I am also missing the first ruku of sura Imran. I will be getting a copy of sura Imran ruku 5 and 7 from a brother who has a recording of them next week Insha'Allah.
Due to many unexpected events I have not been able to keep up as I would like to, however I will continue to do my best to Insha'Allah improve the timing of updating the website. I greatly appreciate your patience and pray that you all benefit from these lectures as much as I do. As long as Allah gives me the tawfiq and at least one person is benefiting from these lectures I will continue to upload them.
Please as always continue to spread the word of this website and to make duas for everyone at Saliheen.com especially for Mufti Kamani and his family for their sacrifices and his guidance in our deen. We are so blessed to have him and many other ulamaa in our community.
I would like to point out that whenever you have a question for Mufti Kamani please be as precise and direct to the point as you can and when you receive an answer from him please understand it's specific to your personal case unless it's a general question.
I would like to mention I reply to every single e-mail I receive most of them the same day and sometime but rare a few days later. If a question comes in for Mufti Kamani I will Insha'Allah make sure you get a reply that same day from me, so please be patient for my replies and thank you for all the brothers who have e-mailed and sent their duas for everyone at saliheen.com, it's a good feeling to know you are benefiting from these lectures. Also, if you have any ideas you like to share to improve this website please do.

I finally uploaded the last two lectures for "The Beginning of Guidance". Insha'Allah tomorrow lecture will be uploaded over the weekend. Insha'Allah over the next few weeks I will have the complete Tafsir lecutres uploaded, subject titles for the "Etiquette in Islam" and also a new sections for books recommended by Mufti Hussain Kamani.

This past Friday (12/24/10) Mufti Hussain Kamani started a new lecture series "The Beginning of Guidance" based on the work of Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali's. Insha'Allah he will be giving this lecture every Friday at the Muslim Education Center (MEC) right after Isha salat. I have already uploaded the recording from 12/24/10, you will find it under the Lectures menu called The Beginning of Guidance. All Brothers and Sisters are encouraged to attend.

I added a new menu section under Lectures called Special. That will take you to page where I will be uploading all Mufti Hussain Kamani special lectures which are not part of the regular series. From time to time he will be giving special lecture which usually occurs during special events. Just yesterday he gave a lecture about the Month of Muharram and Asura, which I just uploaded tonight. It's an excellent lecture you should not miss.

It has now been several months since the last update and it's overdue for another one. Al-humdullah I see a lot of you are visiting here and Insha'Allah you are benefiting and spreading the word to your families and friends so they may benefit as well. Remember when others gain benefits from your effort, you will gain rewards and blessings from Allah for everyone you help and everyone they help.
As you can see I have made another major revision to make it easier for you to navigate and for you to find what you want quickly. In the recent months I have noticed that I needed to reorganize this website to accommodate lots more recording than I anticipated in the beginning. Al-humdullah, we have many scholars who are giving lectures in the Chicago land area.
The latest addition to the website is all the Seerah lectures that Mufti Hussain Kamani gave in 2009. Please check them out.

I would like to announce that Darul Hikmah Academy is starting it's 2010 Weekend Academy beginning October 16th, 2010. In case you are unfamiliar with it, it's a great academy and all the Ulama are excellent and when you meet with them and attend their classes you can tell and feel that they have passion for the deen and are there to pass that on to their students.
Last year I attended this academy and it was the best time of my life. I walked away learning that I knew nothing and learned so much from my teachers. I am so excited about attending my second year. It's a great place to learn everything you need to be a better Muslim. It's also a great place to meet other Muslim Brothers and for the first time Sisters are welcome so Sisters will have an opportunity to meet other Muslim Sisters.
The teachers always make themselves available to their students. The connection you will have with these Ulama are much closer and deeper than your ordinary University professor.

Welcome to the updated Saliheen.com website. This site is still under development but Insha'Allah we will be updating it on a more regular basis now and bringing you all the latest lectures. Please be patient with us while we improve this website.
This website is put together by the students of Islam so we may share it with others and pray they benefit as much as we do.
The purpose of this website is for our Brothers and Sisters to benefit from the lectures presented in our community. As we get new lectures we will post them online. Please note that there is no substitute for attending the lectures in person. You will gain more benefits in doing so and you will gain more rewards for entering a masjid and being with other Muslims and learning from our Uluma in person, there is no substitute for that experience.
Please spread the word about this website to other Brothers and Sisters so they may benefits and learn more about our beautiful deen.
